A Personal Note from Neelam

Dear Sangha,

It is a wonderful sunny day of early spring and I hope you are well and happy wherever you are. I would like to share with you some information about my health, the upcoming changes in my travel and the new direction of my work.

First of all some good news about my housing situation - we have found a rental home near Santa Fe, New Mexico: A quiet spot in nature that has a good chance to work for my health for the next several months. I'm very, very happy to have found this place. I want you to know that I am as strong as ever in my commitment to the land in Hotchkiss, Colorado, where I would like to begin the building process of my home sometime this year.

As to my health it has been continuing to improve & even as I'm facing new challenges I have a good prognosis for a full recovery. My sensitivity has extended to phones and computers, so I am not able to stay in touch in that way for now. I don't know if you are familiar with chemical sensitivity as it is a relatively unknown and very challenging illness. It is caused by an over exposure to chemicals and Toxins in ones environment and requires a prolonged time of avoidance of triggers, cleansing, a change in diet and lots of rest. I am enjoying the time of rest that it brings, the deepening of my inquiry in the face of its challenge and the sweetness of self-reflection.

It's been quite a while right now that I have been sensing a strong need to change the direction of my work or rather the form in which it expresses itself. This health crisis has only made it more visible and urgent.

We have begun an extensive process of restructuring our organization to assure its self-sustainability. As for my teaching schedule, I am going to be traveling very little this year and in general I am looking forward to much less travel in the future. Instead, I will be more available for long-term programs, as well as some public events and longer retreats. We are developing new ways to let people know about my presence and to strengthen programs that enable you to participate in the teaching in a more on-going and in depth way. Two of the most exciting of these new programs are the 2 Year Group and the Community Inquiry Group.

If you are interested to volunteer your time, skill and energy to support building self-sustainability of Fire of Truth, please contact Nina Gogenola at 970-270-5339.

I encourage you to continue our work together through participating in one of our on going programs. We will be letting you know more details very soon. Please check my website for the schedule of current events and retreats - there is the upcoming Spring Retreat in Hotchkiss, Colorado and the India travel in October.

And as my health continues to improve, I will also be available for a limited number of private sessions in person or on the phone.

I hope that the gentle, softness of spring unfolds wherever you are and that your Heart continues to blossom in its gentle abidance in Presence.

LOVE,
Neelam
