A Letter from Neelam, January 2012

Dear Sangha Member,

It was a deep love of Truth and a strong desire for Freedom that brought me to the feet of my teacher, H. W. L. Poonja (Papaji) in the fall of 1994. Little did I know that meeting Papaji, this immense magnitude of embodied Presence, would not only open me up to the level of trust and surrender necessary for the realization of our True Nature, but that it would push me to share this recognition with so many others. I have been sitting for Satsang with Papaji's blessings since 1995 and it has been largely with your on-going help and support that this message of truth and freedom finds its destination in the hearts of so many.

Over the past five years I have been faced with the challenge of environmental illness: truly debilitating at times and largely limiting my ability to work, travel and function in the world. Throughout this time the recognition of Presence has grown even stronger and so has the natural flow to continue to share this teaching.

Because of the limits that come with this illness, we are only able to offer a small number of programs at any given time. As my health continues to improve, we continue looking for ways to make this teaching more accessible to others. Since this summer's program for advanced students, I have been experiencing a wealth of new information that wants to be shared and a renewed sense of urgency to make this message even more available.

We are living in times of transition as the world around us is undergoing a profound transformation. Many structures that we are used to functioning in need to fall apart before new emerging awareness finds its way into a larger part of the collective. Change naturally pushes us more deeply into the unknown requiring us to find an even deeper anchor in Presence in our Nature. It is important that this work will be made more visible and more available, especially at this time.

Your help is needed to be able to sustain and build more of the support necessary for us to continue. You will read in Jacque's letter about what will help us most: a small salary for Lee, an interactive website, and a shielded computer for myself.

I have been deeply nourished and supported by the connection with each of you over the past 16 years. It is the directness and simplicity of this message and our deep love of Truth that bring us together, over and over, to rest in the tender embrace of our Nature.

I hope that as this teaching has become a part of your life and as you are able to see its benefit and transformative power, that you will feel the urge to support its delivery and its sharing with many, many others.

A Letter from Jacque, January 2012

Dear Friends of Neelam,

The continuance of the Fire of Truth Satsanga (FoTS) organization and of its ability to disseminate the teachings has always been supported in part, by students who have sat with Neelam in person and in the teleconference programs. However, as an organization, FoTS could not continue without the generous contributions of all of you, who recognize the value of Neelam's teachings.

We are aware that for each of us, the state of our economy is, at best, prompting caution toward spending. Consideration of where and how we will contribute a portion of our discretionary funds is important. Being involved closely with Fire of Truth as volunteers, we witness the growth and movement toward Awakening of Neelam's students. We believe that the intimate connection Neelam provides as teacher and guide makes her work unique and effective.

We would like to share with you the focus of our petition for fundraising here in early 2012:

A new website: Our website is technically archaic. It makes reaching out to those who cannot access Neelam's teachings directly, challenging and sometimes impossible. If the teachings are to be disseminated, if the organization is to grow, installation of a new website is essential. ($3000)

New computer for Neelam: Yes, Neelam is able to be near a computer for short periods of time. Now, there is a shielding device, which would protect the viewer from most of the electromagnetic field emitted by the computer screen. Having a computer would be a welcomed connection for Neelam and would facilitate her communication with students and volunteers. ($2815)

Financial Support of Lee: Lee is the "hub" of FoTS. This is not to compliment her...it is a statement of fact. She is the touchstone for all of us and she is devoted to Neelam and to this organization. Lee is skilled and her delivery is close to impeccable and we want to be able to compensate her for this valuable contribution she is making. It is only through the generous gift of a donor that FoTS has been able to pay Lee a small stipend over the past ten months. ($600/mo X 12 mo = $9600)

We have set a goal of $15,400.

We ask that you consider giving to Fire of Truth. Should you find this to be a priority, we ask that you give in the form that best fits you. Gifts come in all sizes and shapes.
