Neelam
Neelam, a native of Poland, has been giving Satsang internationally since 1996. She is a direct disciple of H. W. L. Poonja (Papaji), who himself awakened to the truth in the presence of Sri Ramana Maharshi. Neelam shares Satsang with Papaji's blessing.
Known for her simplicity, skillful discrimination, and intuitive insight, Neelam gently points toward the truth at the core of us all.

Satsang
Defined literally as "Meeting in Truth", Satsang also refers to being in the presence of someone who has realized the Truth. Neelam defines Satsang as the "direct experience of Self, not limited to person, circumstance, time, or space."
What follows is a short audio clip of Neelam describing Satsang and Inquiry. Total play time: 3 minutes, 44 seconds.
Satsangs
A typical Satsang, which runs about two hours, generally includes time for silence, dialogue, and sharing our innermost questions.
Thematic Satsangs
Many of Neelam's Satsangs have topics, such as "Relationships: Standing in the Fire", "Honesty & Communication", and "Love as a Way of Being". This gives participants an opportunity to bring day-to-day life circumstances and challenges into the context of tenderness, spaciousness, and awareness.
Daylongs
Daylongs provide an extended amount of time and space in which to further explore the stories and resistance we find ourselves clinging to. A Daylong typically runs around five hours, and most often includes "processes" — opportunities to work with a partner under Neelam's guidance, exploring in greater depth what is really going on.
Intensives
Intensives with Neelam run about two to three days. This longer period of time allows for many of our "stories" to reveal themselves, where they are met with space, honesty, and tenderness. With gentle precision, Neelam points ever-more-deeply into the heart of our true nature.
Retreats
There is an amazing Trust and Openness that is created throughout a Retreat with Neelam, allowing one to feel safe and supported while deepening and letting go into whatever may be arising in Consciousness. Retreats with Neelam extend to four days or more, offering a space to be vulnerable and an opportunity for deepening into the truth of who we are.
- "The heart opening, the release and healing, the tenderness and togetherness, the moving deeper into Being has been more profound in this retreat than any other retreat I have ever been to - and I have been attending retreats for over 30 years!"

Private Sessions
Private Sessions with Neelam offer a unique way of working with Neelam one-to-one, either by phone or in person. These focused and intimate sessions provide a safe and tender space in which to deepen your experience, to address persistent tendencies and issues from the past, to bring up things that are often difficult to speak about in public satsang. Deep-seated issues and spiritual questions can be addressed. From this, true transformation is a natural happening.
These sessions with Neelam are scheduled by appointment only and can be done so either by contacting your local coordinator/organizer or by contacting us at the Fire of Truth office.
Generally these sessions are open only to persons who have been working with Neelam in Satsang format. If you have never sat with Neelam, we suggest you first attend Satsang with her before scheduling a private session.
The sliding scale for these one hour individual sessions with Neelam is $75 to $125, and can be paid by check, money order, or credit card.
Continuing Satsang—Teleconference Call
- "To stay in Satsang, develop a habit of desiring freedom. Give this habit your attention."
We are now scheduling a follow-up teleconference call, subsequent to Neelam's travels to an area for Satsang. Those who are interested will need to sign up in advance. The teleconference call will be approximately one hour and twenty-five minutes in duration. Please be aware that, besides the requested donation (*$20-$30 USD), you will incur your usual long distance charges for the time but no additional cost for the teleconference service itself.
- Dear Satsang Participant,
- I would like to invite you to continue your Satsang experience by participating in a teleconference call. This follow-up call will offer you an opportunity for the impact of Satsang to continue. It is a new format, one that I have found to be of great value in assisting the transition or "grounding" of the experience of Satsang into every-day life. For those of you that want to keep more in touch with me and the extended Satsang community, I would definitely encourage you to give this a try.
- Love,
- Neelam
